Mustangs win against Waldorf University 2-0.
(Sioux City, Iowa) – Morningside men’s soccer team went up against Waldorf University on Wednesday, Sept. 12.
The men’s soccer team got on the scoreboard first in the 25th minute of the game with a goal against Waldorf goalkeeper #32 Raul Guillamon-Bejarby by Morningside’s #2 Austin Lingle with assist by #17 Julius Fassbinder. The first half of the game ended with a score of 1-0.
Austin Lingle wasn’t finished when he decided to get another goal with an assist by #25 Luke Muehlbauer in the 59th minute of the game. Morningside fought off attempts by Waldorf to obtain a final score of 2-0.
