Kati Kneifl was named the GPAC Outdoor Field Event Athlete of the Week.
Kati Kneifl, a sophomore from Sheldon, Iowa, is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Outdoor Field Event Athlete of the Week for April 3-9.
Kneifl won the javelin at last Saturday’s Dordt Invitational with a distance of 138-5 for the fifth longest throw in the NAIA so far this season. Aside from her victory in the javelin, Kneifl finished fifth in the long jump with a distance of 16-5.
