Tyler Kacmarynski has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Wrestler of the Week for Feb. 3-9.
Tyler Kacmarynski, a senior heavyweight from Spencer, Iowa, has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Wrestler of the Week for Feb. 3-9.
Kacmarynski won both of his matches last week to extend his winning streak to 11 and raise his season’s record to 19-3 with six falls. He won a 3-1 decision against Eric Gruis in the Mustangs’ 31-3 win against Dakota Wesleyan University and pinned 10th-ranked Abram Reynolds in 6:53 in the Mustangs’ 43-0 shutout of city rival Briar Cliff University. Kacmarynski, ranked sixth nationally in the NAIA, has a 14-1 record in duals.
