The Morningside College Jazz Band and the Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in Eppley Auditorium.
The Morningside College Jazz Band and the Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The performance will include selections such as “It Don’t Mean a Thing” by Duke Ellington and “I’ll Be Seeing You” by Sammy Fain.
The Morningside College Jazz Band is a student ensemble that performs music written for big band. It is under the direction of Tony Hutchins.
The Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a student ensemble that performs a mix of jazz, show and pop tunes both a cappella and with a rhythm section. It is under the direction of Tim Watson.
