Tim Jager is the GPAC’s representative on the NAIA Athletics Directors Association’s Board of Directors.

Morningside College athletic director Tim Jager has been named to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Athletic Directors Association (ADA) Board of Directors.

Jager was named to the ADA Board of Directors as the representative for the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). The board includes one representative from each NAIA conference including the Association of Independent Institutions.

The ADA Board of Directors, along with ADA president Kevin Steele of MidAmerica Nazarene University, vice president Angie Fincannon of Taylor University, secretary Darin Wilson of Georgia Gwinnett College, and past president Jeff Bain of Martin Methodist College will be tasked with promoting the ADA within conferences, working to provide professional development opportunities and mentoring for ADA members, and recognizing outstanding achievements by athletic directors within the NAIA.

“We are extremely fortunate to have so many dedicated and talented athletic directors in the NAIA,” said NAIA president and CEO Jim Carr. “An active ADA Board of Directors will provide the organization with an incredible resource as we continue to innovate and think creatively about the ways in which we can serve our student-athletes.”
