Suzanna Gonzalez was named the Liberal Arts Championship’s Women’s Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season.
Suzanna Gonzalez, a junior from Trabuco Canyon, Calif., was named the Liberal Arts Championships Women’s Swimmer of the Week for her performances at last weekend’s Coe College Kohawk Invitational.
Gonzalez won four events and set new meet records in each of them with times of 55.78 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle, 1:58.66 in the 200-yard freestyle, 5:15.12 in the 500-yard freestyle, and 18:25.73 in the 1650-yard freestyle. Her time in the 200-yard freestyle was a new Morningside record.
Gonzalez received the Liberal Arts Championships Women’s Swimmer of the Week award for the second time this season.
