Four members from the Mustangs’ football team were named to the 2015 CoSIDA College Division Academic All-District 3 Football Team.

Four players from the Morningside College football team have been named to the 2015 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) College Division Academic All-District 3 Football Team.

The Mustangs’ academic all-district selections are Austin Anfinson, Chad Bertagni, Blake Frank, and Logan Rozeboom.

Their names will be placed on the national ballot for the selection of the CoSIDA College Division Academic All-America Football Team.

Anfinson, a junior offensive lineman from Hinton, Iowa, has a 3.83 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with majors in biology and chemistry.  

Bertagni, a junior offensive lineman from Omaha, Neb., has a 3.98 cumulative GPA with majors in biology and chemistry.

Frank, a junior offensive lineman from Mapleton, Minn., has a 3.65 cumulative GPA with a major in business administration.

Rozeboom, a sophomore defensive back from Hartley, Iowa, has a 3.80 cumulative GPA with a major in engineering physics.

Athletes must be of at least sophomore academic status, be a starter or significant reserve, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher to be eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
