Morningside College faculty members David Elder and Leslie Werden recently presented at the Conference on College Composition and Communication in Portland, Ore.
Leslie Werden, associate professor and chair of the writing and rhetoric department, gave a presentation titled “Teaching at a Small, Four-Year College.”
David Elder, assistant professor of writing and rhetoric, presented research regarding the new online writing centers for graduate programs at Morningside. His presentation, titled “Online Comments as a Guide to Improving Instruction,” made the argument for new training techniques to help writing consultants comment more effectively on online graduate papers.
