Morningside College faculty and staff members recently gave presentations at a regional meeting of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) in Omaha, Neb.
NACADA is an association of professional advisers, counselors, faculty members, administrators and students working to enhance the educational development of students.
Katie Hodgden, first-year adviser, gave a talk titled “Academic Interventions for Academically At-Risk Students.” Aaron Bunker, assistant professor of biology, presented a talk titled “Faculty-Student Perceptions of Advising and a Mismatch in Expectations.”
