Evelyn Edge and Tracy Gates were named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes in the sport of women’s swimming & diving.

Morningside College swimmers Evelyn Edge and Tracy Gates have been named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Edge, a junior from Genoa City, Wis., has a 3.68 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with majors in biology teaching and chemistry teaching.
Gates, a junior from Escondido, Calif., has a 3.85 cumulative GPA with a major in biology.
Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
