Jennifer Buyert, a 6-3 sophomore outside hitter from Sioux Center, Iowa, was named to the 2015 All-Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Volleyball Second Team as selected by the league’s head coaches.

Buyert was the top hitter in the Mustangs’ attack with an average of 3.06 kills per set and a .231 hitting percentage. Buyert had 11 double figure kill performances and had the Mustangs’ top individual kill total of the season with 23 in a match against College of Saint Mary. She had four solo blocks and 42 block assists to rank second on the team with an average of 0.73 blocks per set.

The Mustangs’ Aneisha Ford and Morgan Gourley each received honorable mention All-GPAC recognition.

Ford, a 6-0 sophomore middle blocker from Kearney, Mo., led the Mustangs in blocks with 16 solo blocks and 77 block assists for an average of 1.03 blocks per set. Ford slammed 108 kills for an average of 1.20 kills per set and ranked second on the team with a .200 hitting percentage.

Gourley, a 5-4 sophomore defensive specialist from Stanhope, Iowa, had 275 digs to lead the Mustangs with an average of 3.87 digs per set. Gourley had the Mustangs’ top individual dig performance of the season with 43 against Grace University.
