FIRST-YEAR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

At Morningside, we value having people like you as part of our Morningside community, which is why we offer a variety of scholarships and grants that celebrate your strengths and help make your education more affordable.

Note: This information is for students beginning attendance at Morningside in the fall of 2027.

All students who are approved and choose to move off-campus before reaching 91 credits will have their financial aid reduced by $6,000 per year.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

Academic Scholarships are awarded to full-time, first-time undergraduate students who meet certain minimum High School GPA criteria. Note: this information is for incoming Fall 2027 first-year students.

Amount: $20,000/yr ($80,000 total)

Criteria: 4.0 GPA

Amount: $18,000/yr ($72,000 total)

Criteria: 3.6-3.99 GPA

Amount: $16,000/yr ($64,000 total)

Criteria: 3.3-3.59 GPA

Amount: $14,000/yr ($56,000 total)

Criteria: 3.29 or less GPA

STANDOUT GRANTS

Receive up to $10,000 per year (up to $40,000 over four years) for living out your passions on campus. Areas include Athletics, Visual & Performing Arts & Impact Grants. You can only earn one standout grant, you must continue your participation in the activity, and you will need to visit campus to audition, meet coaches or apply for an Impact Grant in order to qualify. To be considered, simply let us know when you speak to an admission counselor or on your application.
