Our 100% online graduate program in education is convenient and the tuition is one of the lowest in the country. Our Office for Financial Planning has a team ready to help you explore financial aid and payment options to help meet your goals.  

Finance your Grad Ed Degree

Once you’ve applied for enrollment and filled out the FAFSA, there is an additional application for Morningside graduate education financial aid. The application outlines the maximum funding Morningside can provide.

Finance the Cost

Along with the numbers listed below, there is a $150 non-refundable clinical course fee (required for some endorsement programs) and a $150 graduation fee (a one-time fee for degree programs). As well as a one-time fee for a Graduate Orientation Course of $230. All students must meet satisfactory academic progress standards in order to maintain their aid.

Students seeking a master’s degree in education may be eligible for a federal TEACH grant.

Graduate Education Faith-Based Grants

Morningside University offers a tuition grant for educators working in an accredited non-public school. We do this as a way to recognize the unique calling and work of educators in faith-based schools.

Faith Based Grants FAQs:

A Faith-Based Accredited Non-Public School is any school that is connected to a faith community (Catholic, Lutheran, Reformed, Orthodox, Jewish, etc.) and is recognized by the state in which the school is located.

Yes. You need to be enrolled as an admitted student in either an endorsement program and/or a Master of Arts in Teaching program.

No. This program began only with the fall enrollment for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Yes. You may take as many endorsement programs as you wish using the faith-based tuition grant program as long as you are employed in an accredited non-public school.

You are expected to keep Morningside University abreast of your employment status to faithfully fulfill the requirements of the faith-based accredited non-public school tuition grant program. You do this by completing an employment verification form each term you register for classes. The form must be received on or before the verification due date and are not accepted thereafter.

Yes. If you leave the non-public school, then you are no longer eligible for any faith-based tuition grant program. You are expected to keep Morningside University abreast of your employment status to faithfully fulfill the requirements of the faith-based accredited non-public school tuition grant programming by completing an employment verification form each term you register for classes.
