Assistant Football Coach

Morningside University, an NAIA institution, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach. This person will assist the head football coach in all aspects of the football program.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the head coach on goals, philosophy, and vision of the programs.
  • Develop and grow athletes of all levels.
  • Build trusting relationships with athletes and serve as a positive role model.
  • Provide assistance with year-round recruiting of student athletes.
  • Assisting in the planning and organizing of practice and game preparation
  • Provide each student athlete with a positive, meaningful educational experience through athletics.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • One year of prior coaching and/or playing experience at the college level
  • Ability to work well with students and staff
  • An understanding of the NAIA rules of compliance
