Location: Sioux City, Iowa (for in-person instruction; see Geographic Logistics for potential out-of-state work options)
The Rosen School of Business Adjunct Pool
Morningside University’s Rosen School of Business is growing! We are looking to establish an adjunct pool of experienced practitioners and passionate instructors who can teach undergraduate and MBA-level courses on a part-time and as-needed basis.
We welcome applications from candidates with diverse business experiences. At this time, we are particularly interested in applicants with experience in: accounting, artificial intelligence in business, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, finance, international business, marketing, management, operations, project management, sales & customer relations, and/or sports management.
If you have meaningful professional experiences in any aspect of business and a passion for (or interest in) teaching, please apply!
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for adjuncts who will promote and maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all our students. We seek adjuncts who will joyfully encourage student growth and learning.
As an adjunct, you will play an important role in the student experience. As one would imagine, adjunct faculty are responsible for facilitating assigned courses (some of which may be designed and ready to go and others may require development).
As such, you will be expected to promptly respond to student inquiries and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments. Established office hours are required for instructors of undergraduate courses and high accessibility will be needed for MBA-level students. Grades must be submitted on a timely basis. Courses are embedded in our Learning Management System, Moodle.
As a member of the Morningside University community, our policies and procedures will apply to you—as will federal, state, and local laws governing the educational process.

About the Rosen School of Business
In the Rosen School of Business, we pride ourselves on providing our students with excellent learning experiences both in and outside of the classroom. Combined, our full-time faculty all have decades of industry experience. We are a dedicated and collaborative group (funny, too, if you ask us) and we are happy to support new and seasoned adjunct instructors. By being there to support you, we help ensure your success and also the quality of the student experience. Win-win.
The Rosen School of Business is one of the largest academic units on campus with strong enrollment. And our undergraduate students are busy! They are student athletes; musicians, singers, dancers, and thespians; single parents; first gens; and everything in-between. Many students juggle school and part-time work, student clubs, campus activities, and a growing number are non-traditional—even if you cannot tell that by looking at them.
Our MBA program was launched less than two years ago, and our student enrollment numbers have surpassed our expectations. Many of our MBA students are employed and hungry for more. This program is flexible and designed fit into their already busy lives. Our MBA program offers students a range of concentrations, currently including: AI; business analytics; cyber security; finance; healthcare administration; and project, operations, & manufacturing.
But wait, there’s more! We anticipate launching searches for several full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in early August. If our School piques your professional interest, but you are looking for a full-time position, we encourage you to go ahead and apply for an adjunct role now. You can always revisit our job board in August and check out the full-time positions then. For positions to start in January or August 2027, we will be looking to fill positions in accounting, marketing, and management (and we’ll be wowed if you have experience in project management, supply chain, manufacturing, and/or international business).
The timing could not be more perfect, as we are in the process of constructing a new building dedicated to the Rosen School of Business. It is going to be state-of-the-art and stunning. It’s a great time to join our team.
