Tim Jager returned to the Advancement Office in 2025 and serves as the Director of Athletic Advancement. His primary role focuses on athletic facility renovations as well as new construction projects. Tim began working at Morningside in 2003, when he was hired to restart the wrestling program. He coached for nine years before transitioning to Director of Athletics in 2012, a role he held for more than eight years.

Tim enjoys meeting with alumni for coffee or lunch and hearing about their athletic experiences at Morningside, and how those experiences and teammates impacted their lives and careers. Jager grew up in northwest Iowa and is an alum of Buena Vista University. He and his wife, Robin, enjoy spending time at the Y, as well as hiking, biking, and weekends at Okoboji.
