Shannon Claxton has a a bachelors degree from Cornell College and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Experimental Social Psychology from Kent State University. She teaches courses on social psychology, personality theories, intimate relationships, general psychology, research methods, and statistics. Her research focuses on romantic and sexual relationships during emerging adulthood.
