Associate professor of mathematical sciences

Eric Canning has been at Morningside College since 1998. He is interested in wavelet analysis, combinatorics, math education, and supervising undergraduate research. In 2019, he did an independent study with a student on basketball analytics. The student presented his findings at the Morningside College Palmer Student Research Symposium. Also, every three years, he teaches an interesting May Term on the mathematics of games and gambling.
