Brandon Boesch has a doctorate degree in philosophy from the University of South Carolina and undergraduate degrees in biology, philosophy, and Spanish from Benedictine College. His teaching invites students to think carefully about the important questions before us: how to live a good life, how to relate to the natural world, and the role of science in these and other questions. His research focuses on philosophy of science (especially questions arising in meteorological practice) and ethics of philanthropy.
