NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Updated April 2025
Morningside University prohibits discrimination in employment, admissions, recruitment, and its educational programs and activities. It is our policy and practice to promote equal opportunities without regard to age, sex (including pregnancy), religion, creed, race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, genetic information (employment only), national origin, or other characteristics protected by state and federal law. This prohibition applies in the selection or placement of employees, as well as in administration, supervision, compensation, training, promotions, and termination of employment. Every other practice or procedure, both in the areas of academics and business, must subscribe to the intent of this basic philosophy which is inherent in Judeo-Christian principles.
The University is committed to providing all its students, faculty, staff, and visitors with equal access to its programs, activities, and facilities. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the University has made modifications to some of its buildings and grounds and will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and modifications in order to allow such equal access to the regular programs, activities, and degree objectives offered by the University, for qualified individuals with disabilities.
