The Morningside College Theatre Department will present a group of three one-act plays at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21, 22 and 23 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 24 in Klinger-Neal Theatre, 3700 Peters Ave.
These performances are open to the public and general admission is $5. Tickets will be sold at the door starting half an hour before showtime.
The one-acts presented will be “Sure Thing” by David Ives, “The Loveliest Afternoon of the Year” by John Guare, and “Tape” by José Rivera. The night of one-acts will be directed by Betty Skewis-Arnett.
Cast members of “Sure Thing” will be Haleigh Pigott of Sioux City; Jaden Lux of Cherokee, Iowa; and Kyle St. Aubin of Omaha, Neb. Cast members of “The Loveliest Afternoon of the Year” will be Charlie Bass of Sioux City and Cat Ruddy of Minneapolis, Minn. Cast members of “Tape” will be Tyler Malenosky of Sioux City; Alex Sullivan of Berthaud, Colo.; and Ruddy.
Student crew members are Addi Morgan of Kansas City, Kan., stage manager; Tasha Drey of Storm Lake, Iowa, house manager; Minh Vu of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, light board operator; Ronald Morton of St. Louis, Mo., set crew; and Alexis McKee of Sergeant Bluff, property mistress.
