Family Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Plan of Study

The Family Primary Care Nurse Practitioner MSN degree from Morningside College's Nylen School of Nursing consists of 47 total credit hours, including 22 credits from master's core classes and 25 FNP specialty course credits. Students in this track will complete 600 clinical/practicum hours along with three on-site residencies.

The curriculum prepares graduates to be eligible for national certification as a Family Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
