There’s no place like Mside during Homecoming weekend. The weekend brings together students, faculty, staff, future Mustangs, and alumni from across the world. We can’t wait to see you all when we come together to connect with friends new and old. Welcome back to Morningside!
Homecoming Weekend Schedule: Oct. 11-13, 2024
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Campus Tours (Lillian E. Dimmitt Alumni House)
Tours begin on the hour, with the last tour at 2 p.m.
5:30 p.m. – The Silver, Gold, & Diamond Reunion Celebrating the Classes of 1999, 1974, and 1964 (Yockey Family Community Room)
Special invitation and RSVP sent separately. Transportation will be available to and from Eppley for the concert.
6 p.m. – Morningside Swim Team Mustang Relays (Morningside Pool)
The Morningside Men & Women’s swim team invites you to kick off homecoming weekend on Friday, October 6th with the 4th Annual Mustang Relays! Get together your team of the 4 fastest swimmers you know (who are not Morningside swimmers) and see if you have what it takes to win a 200-yard freestyle relay! Prizes, and bragging rights, will be awarded to the winning team.
7 p.m. – Premiere Performance and CODA Awards ft. The Morningside Choir, The Morningside Wind Ensemble and M Avenue Jazz (Eppley Auditorium)
8:30 p.m. – CODA & Silver, Gold, & Diamond Reunion Dessert Reception (Helen Levitt Art Gallery)
9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Campus Tours (Lillian E. Dimmitt Alumni House)

9 a.m. – Tours and Talk with The Silver, Gold, & Diamond Reunion Celebrating the Classes of 1999, 1974, and 1964 (Yockey Family Community Room)

9 a.m. – Morningside Dance Team K-5 Dance Clinic
The Mside Dance Team will be hosting a dance clinic and performance for K-5th grade Mustangs during Homecoming. Participants will receive a clinic shirt, poms, and free entrance to the football game if they are wearing their shirt. The clinic will be in the HPER from 9-11 a.m. and dancers will meet up just before halftime of the 1:30 p.m. football game to perform on the field.

CAMPUS TOURS
Students and staff will be available with golf carts to give guided tours of the campus! You’ll be able to re-visit all your favorite places on campus and enjoy seeing what’s changed since the last time you were here. Tours start in the Alumni House, located next to the Olsen Student Center.
