Iowa All-State Choral Ensemble Clinic
The Iowa All-State Choral Ensemble Clinic is designed to enhance high school student's delivery of the All-State repertoire. Artistic independence is developed through small and large group instruction, and group directives enhance musicianship, musical delivery, and voice placement strategies. Morningside's clinic provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn the Iowa All-State choral music and collaborate with talented student musicians from throughout the state.
Each ensemble of soloists will participate in one 40-minute clinic with an expert Iowa choral music clinician. This year's clinicians include Bob Anderson, Jackie Burk, Allen Chapman, and Carol Tralau, and large group instruction is led each year by Dr. Ryan Person.
Registration is $30 per person and includes instruction and on-campus lunch.
