All active Morningside College undergraduate students, faculty, and staff can receive testing for COVID-19 at no charge, regardless of whether you are currently symptomatic; however, anyone who takes a test will be expected to follow quarantine guidelines. Individuals not associated with Morningside are not eligible to be tested at this site, including family members of employees or students.
Location and Hours: Morningside's Test Iowa site is located in the Alumni House. Students are asked to enter through the east door (closest to Olsen Student Center). Testing is available Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To schedule a test: Use this link to the Test Iowa site and complete the information requested. Employees should use their home address. Students should use the following address: 1501 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, Iowa 51106.
Once you have completed the Test Iowa information, you should call the clinic at 712-202-8186 to schedule your appointment.
If you are unable to successfully use the link or schedule a test, you can come directly to the clinic. The individuals staffing the testing site will be able to assist you.
You will need to quarantine while awaiting your results. Plan accordingly and let your faculty or supervisors know ahead of time.
What to bring to the testing site:
- Have your mobile device with the QR code you received from Test Iowa. If you weren't able to use the Test Iowa website, you do not need this.
- All individuals being tested must have their Morningside ID.
- All individuals being tested must wear a mask.
Results: You can expect your results in approximately 72 hours. They will arrive in an email from Test Iowa. If you receive a positive result, students should follow up with Student Health and employees should contact Human Resources.
