Morningside College will offer a football youth camp on Friday, May 11, a high school skills camp on Sunday, July 8, and a high school team camp from Monday to Friday, July 23 to 27.
All camps will be held at Elwood Olsen Stadium on the Morningside campus. Instruction will be provided by Morningside head football coach Steve Ryan and members of the Mustangs’ coaching staff. Morningside has compiled a 155-40 record, won eight Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) championships, and made 14 consecutive post-season appearances in the NAIA National Championship Series during the Ryan era.
The Mustang Football Youth Camp is for individuals entering grades K-8 and will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on May 11. Cost is $40 for campers who pre-register online and $50 at the door.
The Mustang High School Skills Camp is for football players entering grades 9-12 and will start at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 8. Cost is $50 for campers who pre-register online and $60 at the door.
The Mustang High School Team Camp is for players entering grades 9-12 and will be held from 9 a.m. to noon each day from July 23-27. Teams pick three of the sessions to attend. Cost is $80 per camper.
