What do I need to apply for a graduate Education degree?

We try to keep our graduate admissions process as simple as possible. In order to be admitted to our education program, you need:

  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in your program (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Your Initial Teacher Licensure
  • A completed application
  • A complete response to each of the four writing prompts
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework
  • The $25 application fee, which you may submit via credit card or check

Who cannot apply?

Based on state regulations, our graduate education program is not able to accept applications from students who live in:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Indiana
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota
  • Washington D.C.
  • Wisconsin

You may send us your transcripts via mail or submit them online. Please mail hard copies of all official transcripts to us at:

Writing prompts

As part of your application, we’ll have you respond to four writing prompts. Please write clearly and logically, and be sure to proofread for spelling and mechanical correctness.
