Morningside College offers a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in the Regina Roth Applied Agricultural and Food Studies program.
The Regina Roth Applied Agricultural and Food Studies major at Morningside College is anchored in the liberal arts tradition, which distinguishes it from agriculture programs offered at many large, state universities. The program ensures that students gain a thorough understanding of agriculture and at the same time develop their communication, critial thinking and analytic skills.
In addition to the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts majors, students can select one of the newly developed minors in environmental policy/law, food safety or sustainable agriculture. Students can also choose a variety of already established minors in areas such as chemistry, general business, English, political science, U.S. politics, legal studies, journalism, electronic media production, mathematics, Spanish and sustainability studies.
