Director of Equipment Operations
Morningside University is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Equipment Operations. This is a full-time position responsible for the maintenance and distribution of athletic equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and distribute athletic equipment for teams as assigned
- Keep accurate records of athletic equipment and inventory
- Responsible for the laundering of athletic teams practice and game clothes
- Work with student-athletes to ensure the proper fitting of equipment
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all athletic equipment
- Oversight of daily maintenance of the gym floor as assigned.
- Oversight of daily maintenance of locker rooms which include floors, bathrooms and showers.
- Responsible for the oversight of pregame set up and post-game tear down and clean-up of RV Sports
- Responsible for custodial duties in all RV locker rooms along with back hallways and steps
- Work closely with coaches, especially strength coach to maintain and upkeep weight room
- Oversee clean and safe storage areas as well as laundry facilities
Qualifications:
- Athletic background would be helpful
- Ability to work well with students and staff
