Kari Winklepleck

Kari joined the Institutional Advancement team in 2003. She has over 15 years of experience in in higher education fundraising and is passionate about generating philanthropic support for student scholarships, facility improvements, and most importantly a strong endowment. Kari serves as the college’s senior fundraiser and oversees major gifts, gift planning, alumni relations, advancement services and the annual scholarship fund.

Kari played an active role in the completion of the campaign “This is Our Moment: Transformation I” (2002-2009), which raised over $45 million. The “Vision 2020: Transformation II” campaign (2011-2020), with a goal of $50 million, continues to build on the momentum, success and vision of President John Reynders. To date, Kari and her team have secured over $60 million. She is committed to raising support for her alma mater to improve the college’s strength and long-term stability.

Kari earned her Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from Morningside College in 2003 and a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy from Bay Path College in Long Meadow, MA, in 2011. She loves to volunteer in the community and coach her children’s athletic teams. Kari is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
