Woodbury County, Iowa, a governmental unit as prescribed by the Iowa Code, will accept applications in Room 701 of the Woodbury County Court House, 620 Douglas Street, Sioux City, Iowa for the following position(s):

SECONDARY ROADS DEPT.
TITLE: Engineering Aides (2)
SALARY RANGE: $7.50 - $12.50/hr.
(Based upon education & experience w/ Woodbury County)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs beginning level sub-professional engineering work in the office or in the field; does various other related duties that may be assigned by supervisor.
Work Headquarters: Woodbury County Engineer's Office, Room 502, County Court House, Sioux City, Iowa.
APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of elementary mathematics and some college course work preferred; skill in the use of hand tools; completion of a standard high school course; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be 18 years or older, must have transportation and possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license; good physical condition with ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Employee hired will be required to furnish and wear safety shoes while performing job duties. All other safety equipment required will be furnished by Woodbury County.
