QUALIFICATIONS: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the development and delivery of multiple high-quality educational and consulting services to meet the diverse needs of businesses and institutions to enhance and improve the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the area workforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with the boiler technology and renewable energy industry training programs that align with industry-accepted standards and/or state learning standards to ultimately offer industry-recognized credentials.
• Assess the educational and training needs of the community and companies.
• Assist trainers in the integration of technology into training and Instructional Design and development.
• Develop, market, and deliver multiple training programs by developing curriculum, and coordinating trainers, staff, equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and monitor budget for the project and each course; seek appropriate level of funding and/or tuition fee structures to meet WITCC budget guidelines.
• Develop course co-sponsoring partnerships.
• Prepare course materials/schedules; verify student course completion.
• May serve as a trainer.
• Use excellent communication and human relations skills.
• Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate information, maintaining confidentiality.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: This is a full-time, grade 9/8, administrative position. Starting salary commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health and dental, long-term disability and group life insurance; retirement, tuition waiver; paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
