Overall Responsibilities:
The primary focus of the General Sales Manager is to lead, plan, direct, control and coordinate the overall sales and revenue activities for WHO-TV, Interactive, and multicasting channels.

The General Sales Manager will directly supervise a Local Manager, the Marketing Director, Traffic Department, and National Rep Firm .

Business Skills:
The General Sales Manager must have strong marketing skills, a rich track record in the development of local business, strong inventory management skills, the ability to create new selling platforms through online and offline products, the ability to create and inspire innovation and ingenuity within the marketing and sales departments and the ability to generate positive relationships with local business owners.

Management Skills & Personal Characteristics:
The General Sales Manager must be results oriented, innovative and a dynamic leader. This person must possess an entrepreneurial mind-set, a competitive spirit and exhibit passion and zeal for broadcast sales. This individual must exhibit the ability to motivate, teach and lead by example.

Professional Experience:
The finalist will be a proven sales executive and experienced sales manager with an established record of success and the ability to increase market revenue share and organic revenue growth through innovation and team development.
