Description:
Work in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. Position provides support and guidance to adolescent males and females between the ages of 10 and 17 that have a qualifying mental health diagnosis.

Requirements include academic preparation in a human services field and related experience. Availability from 11:30p to 9a and every other weekend a must.

Life Skills Educator (Heisler)
Description:
Work in our Heisler Chemical Dependency Treatment program. Position works with youth ages 12 to 18 years dealing with alcohol and/or chemical addictions.

Life Skills Educator (West Farm)
Description:
West Farm is a residential program located west of Sioux Falls on a farm owned by the State of South Dakota. The dorm-like housing provides 24 hour supervision and guidance to adolescent males who are unable to return to their homes.

Requirements/Qualifications Required:
Ability to work at least two shifts per week and every other weekend preferred. Requirements include academic preparation in a human services field and related experience.

GROUP LIFE SUPERVISOR (Crisis Diversion Program - West Oak)
Description:
Provides supervision, on-going support, and evaluation of Direct Support Specialists. Assist with the implementation of Individual Service Plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues.

Requirements/Qualifications Required:
Degree in a human services field and four years experience working with people with developmental disabilities in a residential setting or a combination of education & experience. Position requires flexible schedule with a majority of hours being 1p - 11p.

Youth Link Teacher
Description:
Part to full-time positions in Sioux Falls tutoring elementary and middle school students in a structured after-school program. Can be combined with other agency positions to create a full-time position.

Related education and teaching experience required. Valid drivers license needed to assist in student transportation.

Program Assistant
Description:
Relief position (10-15 hrs per week) (weekends & overnights) providing support and guidance to young people involved in an independent living preparation program.

Case Manager (West Oak)
Description:
Full-time position providing case management services, developing and coordinating "individual service plans" for people with developmental disabilities and mental health issues, and supervision of two Direct Support Professionals. Will also provide some direct support services to individuals receiving services.


Requirements/Qualifications Required:
Requirements include a degree in a related field and experience working with developmental disabilities. Must be able to meet QMRP requirements. Past supervisory experience preferred.

Outreach Services Case Manager
Description:
Provide supervision of Interventionists and case management to families receiving intervention services. Will also provide HIV/AIDS and other STD's education to high risk population. This is a full-time position

Requirements/Qualifications Required:
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in crisis intervention is essential. Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation. A bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field and a minimum of one year of related job experience along with a working knowledge of the criminal justice system and community social services is preferred.
