Description: An 8-week, 320 hour position will run approximately June 8 through August 1, 2008 and will offer opportunities to observe and participate in environmental education.
Duties: Assist full-time naturalist with the planning and teaching of environmental educational programs. These will include summer camps for children, library programs and other duties such as sanitation, administration, etc. as assigned by the naturalist or director.
Shift: The summer naturalist intern will work no more than 40 hours per week.
Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled or graduated from a college and working toward a degree in education or natural resources. The applicant must also possess a current, valid driver's license and have the ability to get to and from the work-site.
Salary: Depending upon qualifications, between $7.50 and $8.50 per hour.
