KMEG-TV, the Sioux City, IA, CBS affiliate seeks a Morning & Noon Newscast Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to calling and switching the Morning and Noon Newscasts. Working with the Producers to create flawless newscasts. Create graphics, train and supervise the production staff. Director must have working knowledge of the Philips DD-35-3 Production Switcher, studio camera operation, audio board operation, VIZRT and Type-Deko graphics machines and Panasonic DVC-Pro videotape machines. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of production switchers and be able to direct a newscast without additional training. This is not a job for beginners! Degree and minimum of 1-year directing experience preferred, college-directing experience considered. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
