Gehlen High School Development Intern - Unpaid

Summer internships are available.  We run with abbreviated hours in the summer:  Monday through Thursdays from 9am to 3pm.  Our offices are closed on Fridays.  

Internship opportunities for the summer of 2006 would include the following: Preparation & planning for an All School Reunion (site to be determined) Updates to website Annual report - work begins in July for publication in September Recruitment - everything from updating packets for upcoming year to tours with prospective students & families Capital Campaign Writing press releases Networking I'm involved with Ice Cream Days (June), so the intern could possibly help with the final preparations Luncheons & meetings with donors Parish bulletins Monthly electronic newsletter Solicitation to businesses through Business Club - preparing packet, talking to businesses, etc. Planned giving Planning for Bishop's dinner in October 2006 with Diocese & other schools.  Could also negotiate special projects.
