BPI Technology, Inc. provides technical and technological support to BPI’S four state-of-the-art production facilities located in the Midwest, Beef Products, Inc. BPI is the leading supplier of boneless lean beef trimmings to Quick Service Restaurants and producers of quality ground meats. Our company has 1300+ employees with plants located in South Sioux City, NE, Amarillo, TX, Garden City, KS, and Waterloo, IA. Our corporate office is located in Dakota Dunes, SD.
Position available at our corporate office in Dakota Dunes, SD.
Key Tasks: Performs technical accounting work in accordance with generally accepted principles of accounting. Establishes and maintains accounts assigned. Verifies ledger entries from detailed records. Assists with the preparation of accounting reports. Enters data and information into accounting records systems and modifies as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: Prefer an individual who is working toward a degree in accounting with accounting or bookkeeping experience related to accounts payable, general ledger, or reconciliations. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, and general computer knowledge is required. Must be able to work effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations.
Training: Individual will train with qualified professionals to learn company policies and procedures. This is accomplished through individually paced, hands on training program.
