Advanced Analytical, a manufacturer of innovative scientific instrumentation for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and personal care markets based in Ames, IA is currently seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our team. This full time dynamic position will focus on developing algorithms for interpreting and processing electropherogram data and instrument user interfaces. The position would directly report to the Director of Engineering.
Primary responsibilities would include:
• Work with scientists to development of algorithms for interpreting and processing electropherogram data and instrument user interface.
• Design. develop and maintain software for control and data collection for laboratory devices.
• Client technical/troubleshooting support.
• Assist in software testing and validation.
Requirements:
• BS or higher degree in mathematics or computer science and 5+ years of related programming work experience
• Skilled in computer programming languages, preferably C++ and LabView.
• Must be detail oriented and able to adapt to changing project needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to work independently and works well as a part of a team
• Able to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments
This position is full time with benefits. Minimal travel is required and will primarily be within the United States.
