Coordinates and conducts services provided for low-income, first-generation project participants in 2 high schools in Northeast Nebraska, including assisting with recruitment and selection of participants. Assists with the project's operation, including but not limited to: career planning, study skills/time management, college-prep curriculum planning, financial aid, tutoring, and college visits. Acts as the main contact with the participants in the target schools, including the collection of documentation needed for annual federal reports. Assists with transportation of participants for project activities. Serves as the head Resident Advisor during the summer program, including living on the same floor in the residence hall with the participants. Frequent weekend and evening hours and extensive travel required. Position is grant funded. Excellent benefits including staff/dependent scholarship program.
