Position Description- Project Manager
Part Time June-early-mid August 2008
Responsible for developing a Giving Card Program (local businesses providing discounts to United Way donors). This program will be modeled after similar programs used in other communities. Primary responsibilities will include researching potential participants, creating and developing marketing materials, and meeting with businesses to explain the program and encourage their participation. Finalization of this project may include posting program info. on United Way’s website, working with local radio stations to secure promotion of the program, and designing the card for production.
This is a part-time position, based upon your internship requirements (minimum 15 hours/week). Scheduling is flexible between the hours of 8am to 5pm M-F).
