Three players from Morningside’s women’s golf team were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Three members of Morningside College’s women’s golf team have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

The Mustangs’ Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes are:

Sarah Davy, a senior from Saint Paul, Minn., who has a 3.90 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with a major in mass communication.

Tiffany Green, a junior from Blockton, Iowa, who has a 3.81 cumulative GPA with a major in elementary education.

Cameron Oakley, a senior from Sioux City, who has a 4.00 cumulative GPA with majors in political science and English.

Davy and Oakley also received the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award as juniors.

Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
