Morningside College is designated one of the Midwest’s “Best Regional Colleges” in the U.S. News & World Report 2015 “Best Colleges” rankings released on Sept. 9. Morningside is ranked 23 out of 95 regional colleges in the Midwest.

This is the eleventh consecutive year that U.S. News has designated Morningside a “Best College.” The U.S. News rankings are available at www.usnews.com/colleges.

The U.S. News rankings for the best regional colleges category are based on key indicators in seven broad areas: peer assessment, retention, graduation rate performance, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.

U.S. News identifies regional colleges as institutions that focus on undergraduate education and offer a range of degree programs in the liberal arts and in professional fields such as business, nursing and education.
