Morningside moved up one place in the team standings during Friday's final round of the 2005 GPAC Women's Golf Championships at Wild Oak Golf Club at Mitchell, S.D.
The Mustangs, who were in 10th place going into the final round, finished in ninth place in the team standings with a two-day score of 773.
Shelby McKeever led the Mustangs on Friday with a 91 to finish with a two-day total of 190. She tied teammate Rachel Lenhart, who had 95s both days, for Morningside honors. The Mustangs' other counters were Megan Parish with a 194 and Patty Henke with a 199.
