High School Data- 2005 graduate of Cherokee Washington High School. Passed for 3,118 yards as a junior to set an Iowa prep record for yards passing in a season. Senior season cut short by season’s ending injury in the seventh game. Completed 161 of 299 passes (56.7 percent) for 2,371 yards and 24 touchdowns and rushed for 310 yards and two TDs as senior to earn second-team Class 2A all-state honors from the Iowa Newspaper Association and Des Moines Register. Passed for over 300 yards in six of his seven games. Threw six touchdown passes and threw for season’s high 497 yards against Okoboji. Had 322 yards passing and 106 yards rushing against Battle Creek-Ida Grove. A second-team Sioux City Journal All-Northwest Iowa selection.
