Joined Mustangs' football team in 2005 and earned second-team NAIA All-America honors after ranking second in the nation in kick scoring with average of 7.3 points per game. Kicked a school-record 56 PATs and made eight of 10 field goal attempts en route to 80 points. Scored season's high 12 points in season's opener against Midland Lutheran College and in Mustangs' NAIA National Playoff Quarterfinal round victory against Evangel University. Made two field goals in both the Midland Lutheran and Evangel games. Season's longest field goals were 34-yarders against Northwestern College and Dana College. Also an outfielder on Mustangs' baseball team. Earned honorable mention All-GPAC honors in 2005 after joining Mustangs as a transfer from Oklahoma State University. Scored 60 runs for the second highest single-season total in Morningside history. Hit .315 with 10 doubles, three triples, seven home runs, 47 RBIs, and eight stolen bases. . .Junior College Data- Played two seasons of baseball at North Iowa Area Community College. . .High School Data- 2001 graduate of Sioux City Heelan High School. Hit .394 with five home runs and 29 RBIs as a senior en route to first-team Class 3A all-state honors from the Iowa Newspaper Association and the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. Also a first-team All-Missouri River Conference selection.
