Two-time first-team All-GPAC performer has collected 207 tackles with 85 solos and 122 assists during Morningside career. Career totals also include nine quarterback sacks, two interceptions, seven pass breakups, three fumble recoveries, and 24 tackles behind the line of scrimmage for losses of 77 yards. . .2005 Data- Earned first-team All-GPAC honors for the second year in a row. Mustangs' third leading tackler with 22 solos and 63 assists for 85 total tackles. Had 8.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage for losses of 17 yards, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, 1.5 quarterback sacks, and one blocked kick. Named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week after he helped lead Mustangs to 27-26 win against the University of Sioux Falls on Oct. 15 to snap the Cougars' 40-game GPAC winning streak. Collected game-high 11 tackles, including five solo stops, to go along with a quarterback sack and two fumble recoveries. Second fumble recovery came after Cougars had driven to the Mustangs’ one-yard line with less than four minutes left in the game. Had season's high 12 tackles with one solo and 11 assists in 35-13 win against Hastings College on Oct. 29. Also made double figures with 11 tackles against Doane College on Sept. 24 and with 10 stops in Mustangs' loss against Saint Francis in the semifinals of the NAIA National Playoffs. Blocked a punt in Mustangs' 58-7 win against St. Ambrose in the opening round of the NAIA Playoffs. . . .2004 Data- Rejoined team after serving two-year Mormon mission. Standout defensive perfomer for Mustangs' NAIA National Playoff team. Led the Mustangs in tackles with 63 solos and 59 assists for 122 total tackles en route to NAIA honorable mention All-America honors and first-team All-GPAC laurels. Also topped Mustangs' defense wtih 15.5 tackles for losses of 60 yards, 7.5 quarterback sacks, and three quarterback hurries. Contributed two interceptions for 26 yards and three pass breakups to Mustangs' pass defense. Posted nine double figure tackle totals, including a season's high 15 stops in Sept. 25 contest against Midland Lutheran College. Collected a season's high 10 solo tackles in Nov. 6 contest against No. 1-ranked University of Sioux Falls. Had 1.5 quarterback sacks in games against Midland Lutheran, Doane College, and Dana College. Interceptions came in contests against Doane and Dakota Wesleyan University.
