Received Mustangs' Most Valuable Linebacker Award in addition to honorable mention All-GPAC laurels. Led Mustangs with nine tackles behind the line of scrimmage for losses of 57 yards. Mustangs' top pass rusher with team-high 5.5 quarterback sacks. Also led team with four forced fumbles. Mustangs' second leading tackler with 37 solos and 60 assists for 97 total tackles. Statistics also included one pass breakup, one quarterback hurry, and one fumble recovery. . .2002 Data- Named a NAIA second-team All-American to become Morningside's first-ever NAIA football All-American. Also named a NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete. Received Mustangs' Outstanding Linebacker Award. Mustangs' second leading tackler with 31 solo stop and team-high 57 assists for 88 tackles. Also led team with three forced fumbles. Had 9.5 tackles for losses of 43 yards, six pass breakups, three quarterback sacks, and two fumble recoveries. . .2000 Data- Redshirt freshman enjoyed solid success as first-year starter with seven tackles for losses of 34 yards, including 2.5 quarterback sacks. Finished campaign with 19 solos and 13 assists for 32 total tackles. . .High School Data- 1999 graduate of Sioux City North High School. Earned third-team Class 4A all-state honors from the Des Moines Register following senior campaign where he led North with 105 tackles.
