Mustangs' ace posted a 6-3 record and topped team in earned run average at 2.28. Completed eight of nine starts to lead team in complete games. Also topped Mustangs with 15 appearances and school-record 73.2 innings pitched. Walked only seven batters all season. Struck out 37 batters, including a season's high six strikeouts against Rockford College on March 1 in first start of the season. Pitched an abbreviated five-hit shutout in 14-0 five-inning triumph against Waldorf College on March 11. Pitched a five-hitter in 10-3 win against Doane College on April 17. Named the GPAC Pitcher of the Week after he went 2-0 with a 2.57 earned run average in wins against Doane on April 17 and a 10-1 win against Dakota Wesleyan University on April 12. Did not issue a walk over a stretch of 10 consecutive appearances prior to the NAIA Region IV Championships. . .2004 Data- Posted a 4-4 record with a 3.91 earned run average in 11 appearances, including nine starts. Ranked third on team in starts and with five complete games and 62.2 innings pitched. Led Mustangs in strikeout to walk ratio with 45 strikeouts and only 10 base on balls. Twirled a one-hit shutout with no walks and three strikeouts in 7-0 victory against St. Cloud State University on March 20.
