season to break their former team single-season standards
of 99 doubles by their 2002 team and 14 triples by their 1994
and 2000 clubs.
Individually, the Mustangs’ most prolific record setter
was Chris Losett, a junior shortstop from Helena, Mont.,
who had 11 home runs and 61 RBIs to top Morningside’s
former single-season records of 10 home runs by Rick Smith
in 1988 and T.J. Sitzmann in 1989 and 54 RBIs by Chris Schiltz
in 1995.
Losett also topped the Mustangs with 57 hits, 107 total bases,

record previously set by Kirt Bennett in 1988 and Joel Rosacker
in 2002.

during the 1988 season and Joel Rosacker also accomplished
the feat in 2002.
